Advertise your vacancy with Ethical Jobs

Why advertise with Ethical Jobs?

  • More suitable candidates
You're more likely to find suitable candidates through our website than any other because we're the only UK site that provides a single source of information online for the ethical jobseeker. Jobseekers using our website have made a conscious decision to look within the ethical job market. Their values, beliefs and work ethic differ to those who are job seeking based purely on remuneration or status.

  • It's fast, easy and convenient.
We know how time consuming recruitment can be so we've made this bit easy for you - upload your vacancy online within 5 minutes and you can start receiving applications immediately. There's no print deadline to meet (or wait around for) and you can remove your vacancies as soon as you have filled the role.

  • You get more for your money.
For just GBP75 per vacancy, you can post your jobs for an unlimited period. Our jobs are also featured on a number of carefully chosen, ethically-sound, partner sites that enjoy high traffic from users whose profiles match our own target market. These include Ethical Junction, Greenbang, Positive News and Careershifters. This means your vacancies are seen by many thousands of additional people at no extra cost.

  • You get extra exposure
If you're looking for the stars of tomorrow, you'll find them here! In a survey commissioned by the Guardian, over 70% of students said that a company's ethical track record is a crucial factor when choosing their employer. Currently, three quarters of all UK university websites feature links to Ethical Jobs - that's an opportunity for thousands more ethical jobseekers to see your vacancies.

  • Top dog with the search engines
We come up at the top of the list on all major search engines like Google, MSN and Yahoo when job seekers look for 'ethical jobs'.

Who can advertise on Ethical Jobs?
If you're reading this, chances are you're a responsible employer, working in a sustainable, fair manner. If so, please feel free to start advertising. We screen all our employers and if we're in doubt, we'll contact you.

Some examples of employers we will not include on our website:

  • Companies that do not maintain a responsible position regarding labour rights in their own operations and through their supply chains, particularly in developing countries.

  • Those involved in the manufacture or transfer of arms or those with links to the fur trade.

  • Companies involved in animal testing for beauty products.

  • Organisations that engage in irresponsible marketing activities.

  • Companies whose core activity causes widespread damage to the environment.

The only exception to these requirements occurs when companies are recruiting for roles that work towards compliance with these criteria. For example, petroleum companies recruiting staff for renewable energy projects.
